Hey there! Welcome to 22 Music School & Tuition, where we're all about helping the next generation of rockstars! Our tutors are super experienced and make learning music fun and enjoyable. We teach drums in all styles - rock, jazz, and more - and you can follow graded routes or just jam out to your own musical interests. We teach everyone from 5 to 105, so whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, we've got you covered! Join us and become the next drumming sensation!
What will I learn?
So, you wanna learn how to play drums? Awesome! You'll get to know all about the history of drums and the legends who made them famous. We'll cover hand and foot technique, rudiments, reading and understanding drum music, keeping time, warm up exercises, rhythms and grooves, feel and dynamics, tuning your drums and maintenance, learning songs and interpreting drums, playing along to music and backing tracks, exploring time signatures, composing drums to music and accompanying other musicians, 2, 3 and 4 way coordination, composing fills, composing solos, linear beats and fills, exploring musical styles, double bass drum, Rock School grade syllabus (on request), and Trinity grade syllabus (on request). Sounds cool, right?

Are you ready to rock? Our music studios are the place to be! We've fancy equipment that'll make you feel like a rockstar. You can choose to learn on-site or online, and we'll even hook you up with instrument hire, restringing, and set up services. Join our weekly band sessions to jam with other musicians and become the next big thing. Who knows, maybe you'll even get a record deal!
